Botox & Dermal Fillers
Botox is a muscular injection that can help prevent the onset of fine lines and wrinkles, and helps even out the skin. In addition to its aesthetic benefits, it can also help to reduce myofascial pain, pain from tension headaches/migraines, and discomfort associated with TMJ disorder. Often used in conjunction with Botox, dermal fillers are substances that are injected just below the surface of the skin to fill fine lines, wrinkles, and scars, and add volume to create a more natural, youthful appearance. Fillers can also increase the fullness of the lips and lessen the downward slant of the corners.

Whitening
For all of us, teeth naturally accumulate discoloration and stain from things like coffee, tea, red wine, dark sodas, and smoking over time. For some of us, our teeth begin with a naturally darker color due to genetics. In either case, whitening is one way to address these issues and create a bright, natural smile. Though stains may still accumulate over time, this process represents a permanent change to the teeth, and should last for years with minimal at‐home touch ups.
Equilibration
For patients who experience symptoms of a poorly functioning or unbalanced bite, your dentist can go through the process of equilibration to create a more ideal relationship between your upper & lower teeth. After a thorough evaluation, your dentist will make a series of micro‐adjustments to your enamel over multiple appointments to improve alignment, which results in your teeth, muscles, and joints all working together more harmoniously.

Oral Appliances
Studies have found that up to 30% of patients clench or grind their teeth while they are asleep at night. Over time, the repetitive forces from these activities can cause damage to teeth such as recurring pain & sensitivity, cracking, breaking, or gradual loss of tooth structure/enamel. To provide protection against these forces, your dentist can make an acrylic guard that can be worn at night that is custom fit to your bite. This custom fit ensures maximum comfort and protection by providing relief for tired muscles and joints through finding a “home” for teeth to settle at night, by balancing your biting forces across the whole mouth, and acting indirectly as a retainer to ensure these forces do not eventually affect tooth position or stability.
